I have been in such a decorating slump since we moved in June that a new book might get me inspired again!

Hope you have a great week on the beach. We woke up to a low of 38 here in North Alabama today so I am really jealous!

I already have this book so I am not entering. I love it! You are really going to be "chilling" this week. It is cold today, isn't it? We are planning to go to Panama City the week before Thanksgiving. My dad has a condo but they also used their time share to get another one for the week so we will have our own home. My husband and two oldest won't be able to go because of school and work but I am taking the three younger kids. I don't care if it is cold- love to just look at the ocean and hear it. The Canadian snowbirds will be out in that water with it being 40's outside- it is crazy to see!

I have seen this and flipped through the pages. There is some gorgeous stuff. I like this book because so many things are beautiful when simply displayed. I think sometimes I have way too much stuff going on in my decorating. I need to learn to simplify.

I have lived in my high-rise condo for five years and I'm STUCK on how to pull it all together. I'm an interior design school drop out... I should have a few tricks up my sleeve... I have such a creative block...sheesh!

We've renovated the kitchen (major!)and one of the bathrooms, but my two bugaboos are trying to get the "box" feeling out of the bedroom (using trim and moldings) and a suitable furniture arrangement for the living/dining area. The room has odd angles.

I've got a niece who just graduated from Samford in interior design. She'll be moving back to Nashville soon. Hope to be signing her on to the projects while she finds a job here in town!

Came over here via Fran's blog. Don't need to be in the raffle, just wanted to say I'll be adding you to my reader...

Give my regards to O'Carrs in Homewood. Have a chicken salad fruit plate for me!

:-D)

Hi Rhoda :)

I've been having trouble keeping up myself, but I made it in time to enter your giveaway!

I need to do something to this house so that I can fall in love with it again since we won't be moving for a while and this book looks like it could help ;)

Have a great time at the beach!!

Just dropped in to see you Rhoda and say hi. For someone who retired you're busier than ever! I can't believe you! You're always painting something, recovering something or refurbishing something. Time for a rest!

I know what kinds of things I like but I don't know how to classify my style. I would love to see a book that showed the different decorating styles and examples of each kind.

Rhoda, I'm excited to be entering this contest. I read your outstanding blog daily but for some reason was not able to comment. Just started a blog of my own, so maybe now my computer will cooperate with comments! When I figure out how, I will add this contest to my blog!
I would love for you to talk more about placing groupings of accessories together.

You have been boo-ed. Copy the boo photo and put it on your sidebar so everyone will know you already have been boo-ed. Then, find some friends to boo.

I wonder if you will even see this amidst all your comments!

This carnival is a fun way to find new blogs to read.

As for decorating, what I REALLY need is a HOUSEKEEPER. And it's so very difficult deciding what to keep, and what to let go!! :(

I would love to learn more about accessorizing. I never quite feel the room is complete when I'm finished. I think I'm always afraid of over doing it.
